Car Slams Into Wall, Bursts Into Flames In Montgomery County
WYNNEWOOD. Pa. (CBS) -- One man was injured overnight after his car slammed into a wall and then burst into flames in Montgomery County.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. at Lancaster Avenue and Lankenau Drive in Wynnewood.
Police say the vehicle struck a wall and then caught fire. Authorities say a bystander who witnessed the crash quickly pulled the driver from the burning car and took him to the hospital.
There was no immediate word on the driver's condition.
The rain was to blame for slick roadways and several accidents throughout the early morning hours. It was not clear, however, if the wet weather played a role in this crash.
