Bucks County Teen With Down Syndrome Is The New Hero Of His High School

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) -- After years of watching from the sidelines at Bensalem High School as the team manager, Kevin Grow was recognized for his actions on the court.
The Bensalem senior received plenty of congratulations in a ceremony at Faust Elementary.
Grow, who has Down syndrome, had been a manager for the Bensalem boys basketball team for four years. But it's what he did on senior night on the court that's garnering all of the attention.
Kevin got to play, and when he did, he made magic happen.
"They put him in for the last two minutes and he started hitting three point shots and couldn't miss," Kevin's mom said.
Kevin hit four 3-pointers in the last two minutes of the game to help beat Neshaminy 64-40.
Athletic Director of Bensalem High School Geoffrey Per says, "It couldn't happen to a greater kid because Kevin is a super, super kid. He smiles all day long. He'll brighten your day up. He truly deserves it."
As for Kevin, he knew he could do it.
CBS 3 asked, "Have you always been this good?" Kevin's responded an extremely confident, "Yes!"
