Broncos Part Ways With John Fox After Postseason Exit
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a 12-4 start and a division title, it would have been hard to predict that the Denver Broncos would part ways with John Fox. That is exactly what happened on Monday according to and ESPN report which was confirmed by CBSSports' Jason La Canfora.
The Broncos' season came to an end on Sunday after losing at home in the divisional round of the playoffs to the Indianapolis Colts.
La Canfora is also reporting that the Broncos have a strong internal candidate for the job in the form of Adam Gase, the team's current offensive coordinator.
The Broncos will become the seventh team making a head coaching change this season and will be one of six in need of a new coach after the Buffalo Bills agreed to hire Rex Ryan for their opening.
Gase was seen as a candidate for most of the league's openings and is now expected to be a front-runner to be promoted in Denver.
