Jim Breuer Calls Quentin Tarantino A Moron For Black Lives Matter Comments
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Comedian Jim Breuer called film director Quentin Tarantino a 'moron' for speaking at a Black Lives Matter rally, calling some police murderers, and drawing rebukes from police unions across the country.
Breuer, talking with Rich Zeoli on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, said Tarantino should mind his own business and not weigh in on highly political issues.
"That was a moronic view. Here's another thing. People stand on the sidelines and they read headlines and they want to be part of stuff, I want to be part of help the Syrians. No you don't moron. Let the Syrians deal with it. How about you deal with your second grade kids having problems in school. Don't worry about what's going on in Syria."
He said he's willing to give police the benefit of the doubt, considering the dangers they deal with on a daily basis.
"When there's a mistake, the percentage of mistakes, what you're not looking into, what do you think these people are walking down the street, 'hello ma'am, would you like to have a rose? Boom. Oh my God. He shot him. He was just handing out roses and they shot him in cold blood.' Do you think you're dealing with the best part of society? Let's not kid ourselves."
Breuer also joked about the idea from Glenn Straub, the owner of the bankrupted and empty Revel Casino in Atlantic City, to house Syrian refugees there.
"Let's see how that works out. He's going to go from bankrupt to burned down. Any other casinos want to take some refugees from Syria? It was a cooking accident. No, it's very popular in our country. Yeah, bring them over here. Potential terrorism. Ship them here. It will be great."
