OCEAN CITY, NJ (CBS) -- The Jersey Shore is springing back to life as vacationers celebrate the start of summer.
"It's gonna be a good relaxing weekend."
There was an air of excitement and anticipation among the early birds arriving in Ocean City.
"Go on the rides. Playing on the beach. Swimming. Going in the water."
"My parents have a house so I'm gonna take a nap, then go to the beach."
A few braves souls even went in the ocean for the first time.
"The water was fine. It's beautiful. The sun is gonna heat up everything. I always have to get my feet wet first to see how it's like. "
