Double shooting in East Falls leaves woman dead: Police
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A man and a woman were shot inside a car in East Falls Saturday morning. The woman later died of her injuries.
The shooting happened around midnight on the 3100 block of Berkeley Drive.
Police say they found a 59-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman shot inside a car. The woman, who was shot once in the back, died at 12:15 a.m., authorities say. Police later identified her as Aisha E. Green.
Police say the man, who was shot once in the left leg, is in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.
Officials say they have not announced any arrests. No weapons were recovered.
