Ben Franklin Bridge To Light Up Blue, Honoring Fallen Officers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Ben Franklin Bridge often lights up in colors to honor people and recent events. Soon, the bridge will lit blue.

This time, the bridge is taking on some color to honor the lives of fallen police officers. In a show of support for the five fallen officers in Dallas, and their families, the bridge will be lit blue from July 13-17.

The officers in Dallas were shot by a gunman during protests over the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, at the hands of police, which took place in Louisiana and Minnesota.
