Authorities Search For Bucks County Woman Who Went Missing At Tyler State Park
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities are searching Tyler State Park in Bucks County for a woman reported missing.
Fort Washington State Park Superintendant Eric Ihlein says they're looking for Lindsey Marie Piccone. The Bensalem woman's car was discovered in Tyler State Park around 8 p.m Tuesday, but she was nowhere to be found.
Searchers combed the park for several hours and resumed Wednesday morning at 6:30.
Ihlein says the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bucks County Emergency Services, as well as local police and fire personnel are taking part in the search.
The park is closed to vehicles, and pedestrians are being asked to avoid the area while the search continues.
