Authorities: NJ Man Fatally Shoots Wife, 10-Year-Old Son, Before Killing Self

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ (CBS) – Officials say a Burlington Township man fatally shot his wife and son before killing himself in their home.
Police responded to the Sunflower Circle home around 10:15 Monday night after a relative requested a wellness check at the residence.
Authorities say an investigation determined that Ruben Johnson Jr. , 50, fatally shot his wife, Mishanda, 48, and their 10-year-old son.
Officials say he then turned the gun on himself.
The motive for the deadly shootings is being investigated.
On Saturday, a family of five was found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Berks County.
