Atlantic City Man Charged With DWI After Driving Car Into Bay
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., (CBS) -- Atlantic City police announced on Friday that a man is being charged with DWI after he drove his car into the bay.
Police say Juan Crespo, 23, drove his car into the bay in the early morning hours on Friday with a passenger in the vehicle.
Both were able to escape the car before it became fully submerged, officials say. The driver was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Crespo was charged with driving while intoxicated.
