1 Dead, 1 Injured In Newark Fire

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – A fast moving fire moved through a house in New Castle County, Delaware.

The blaze broke out around 5:10 a.m. at 7 South Fawn Drive in Newark.

Five people were reportedly inside the house at the time. Four were able to escape.

A 67-year-old male died in the fire, and a woman was taken to Christiana Hospital for smoke inhalation.

An investigation is underway.
