Some Morning Fog, Staying Unsettled With Flooding Concerns By Friday

By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A "back door front" will keep it cool as easterly winds continue.

Areas of fog will linger early Wednesday, then expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs around 74.

The front will lift north (again) as a warm front Thursday.

High temperatures will rebound to 82 degrees with a scattered shower or storm possible.

Steady rain will arrive Friday, as a slow moving cold front (from the west) combines with tropical moisture riding northward along the east coast. This will produce at least 1-2 inches of rain and cause flooding concerns to rise.  The high temperature will be around 70 degrees.

In the wake of the cold front, dry and "cooler" weather will return for the weekend.

Highs both Saturday and Sunday will rise into the lower 70's.

Next week with start with sunshine and temperatures in the 60s!
