Philadelphia Public And Archdiocesan Schools Closed Friday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Due to the inclement weather, all School District of Philadelphia schools are closed for Friday, March 6.

The School District of Philadelphia says all prekindergarten and after school programs are also closed.  Administrative offices will be open two hours late.

For updates, visit the District website or check with the District's Information Hotline at 215-400-INFO (4636).

In addition, Archdiocesan high schools and Catholic elementary schools in the City of Philadelphia will be closed Friday due to conditions resulting from today's storm.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia says Archdiocesan high schools and Catholic elementary schools in the suburban counties normally follow the decision of their corresponding local public school district and submit closure status independently.
