By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Thanks to SportsRadio 94WIP, Philadelphia Phillies, and the United Service Organizations (USO), Specialist (SPC) Anward Magras and Master (MSgt) sergeant Brian Curry are going to Phillies Spring Training in Clearwater, Florida in appreciation of their military service.

Phillies former all-star second baseman Mickey Morandini and USO President Joe Brooks were on hand last Saturday afternoon for the presentation during a live 94WIP broadcast, with Rob Charry and Hollis Thomas.

"This is something we've been working awhile with," Brooks said. "We can always count on the Philadelphia Phillies and 94WIP to support USO efforts, which is at the end of the day, about comfort, care, and support in honoring our heroes like we have here today and military families throughout the Delaware Valley. So, kudos to John Brazer, board member of the USO, the Philadelphia Phillies, and 94WIP and thank you guys for your service."
