7-Eleven Robbed By 2 Men Armed With Assault Rifle
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for two men who robbed a 7-Eleven store at gunpoint.
It happened shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Kensington Avenue in Frankford.
Police say two men entered the convenience store, one of them armed with an AK 47 assault rifle, and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash.
Authorities say there were customers inside the store at the time, but there were no reports of any injuries.
