4 People Struck By Car; 2 Year Old In Critical Condition
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- 4 pedestrians, 2 of them children were struck by a vehicle in West Philadelphia.
This happened around 5:18 Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say, the vehicle was going around illegally parked cars on the 4900 block of Parkside Avenue when he struck the 4 pedestrians. The driver of the vehicle said the driver did not see them.
Police spoke to one of the pedestrians who stated they were crossing the street when they were struck.
The children were transported to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the adults were transported to Presbyterian Hospital.
Two of the victims remain in stable condition. The 30 year old and 2 year old victim remain in critical condition.
The vehicle stayed on scene and police do not believe alcohol was involved.
