Police Investigate Stabbing Death Of Man In Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are questioning three men in connection with the stabbing death of a man in West Kensington.

It happened round 3 a.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of G Street.

Police say officers were responding to a call for a person with a gun when they arrived on scene and found a man bleeding and suffering from multiple stab wounds to his neck and back.

The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Authorities say three men were taken into custody and were being questioned by investigators, but no one has been charged.

Police did not immediately release the identity of the victim.
