3 Men Accused Of Breaking Into Vehicles In The Parking Lot Of A South Jersey College

GLOUCESTER Twp., NJ (CBS) – Three men have been arrested for allegedly breaking into vehicles in the parking lot of Camden County College Wednesday morning.

Gloucester Township Police responded to the scene after receiving a report of suspicious males in the campus parking lot who were attempting to gain entry into cars.

Upon arrival, officers were met by Public Safety Officers who were speaking with two men who fit the description of the suspects. One adult and one juvenile were taken into custody at that time. Later, a third adult male was taken into custody.

Further investigation determined the three men had driven to the campus with the intention of breaking into parked vehicles. They were able to gain entry into two unlocked cars and stole a woman's purse, wallet and several pairs of sunglasses.

All of the stolen items were recovered and returned to the owners.

Kevin Armstrong, 18, was charged with burglary and theft and Anthony Pichardo, 18, was charged with criminal conspiracy. The 14-year-old male was charged with burglary and theft and released to his parents pending court.
