3 Killed In Crash On New Jersey Turnpike In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) -- Three people were killed in a single-car crash along the New Jersey Turnpike Thursday morning, State Police said.
The deadly crash happened at about 7:08 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike in Cherry Hill.
According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling in the left lane when it entered the left shoulder. The car then crossed all lanes of travel, ran off of the road to the right and traveled down an embankment before striking a tree.
Police have identified the driver as 45-year-old Segundo Romero, of Maryland.
The three male occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, New Jersey State Police have not identified the other victims.
The cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation.
