2 Men, Incarcerated On Unrelated Charges, ID'd As Suspects In Lindenwold Shooting
LINDENWOLD, NJ (CBS) – Two people have been charged in connection to a shooting that happened in Lindenwold back in April 2014.
Thirty-one-year-old Richard K. Miller and 21-year-old Raheem T. Thomas are facing attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder charges in the shooting of a Sicklerville man. They're also charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault and weapons offenses.
Police say the 35-year-old victim was leaving a strip mall parking lot on the 200 block of E. Gibbsboro Road in his car around 3:50 p.m. on April 25th when a white Volvo approached him from behind.
Two masked men then got out of the Volvo and fire on the victim with an assault rifle and a handgun.
The victim was struck several times, including in the left arm.
Following the shooting, police located the suspects' vehicle and recovered evidence from the area. That evidence was then submitted to a forensic lab, which identified Miller and Thomas as the suspects.
Officials say the two men are currently in prison on unrelated charges.
