$1M Powerball Ticket Sold In Fishtown

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Even though no one hit the Powerball jackpot, someone in Philadelphia came pretty close.

Officials say a check-cashing store in the city's Fishtown section sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million. It matched all five white balls — 16, 19, 32, 34, 57 — in Saturday's drawing but failed to match the Powerball of 13. Wilson's Check Cashing store gets $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.

This isn't the first time a Philadelphia retailer has dealt a lucky ticket in the recent Powerball game.

In December, another winning ticket matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball. It was sold at a Sunoco gas station on Cottman Avenue.

The record-setting jackpot now stands at about $1.4 billion.
