1 Killed In Delaware County Apartment Fire
PROSPECT PARK, Pa. (CBS) -- One person was killed in an apartment fire in Delaware County Wednesday morning.
The fire started shortly before 10 a.m. in apartment along the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue in Prospect Park.
According to investigators, a female resident was rescued from the home and was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, but was later pronounced dead.
A second individual was able to escape from the home with only minor injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
