1 Killed In Burlington Township Car Wreck

BURLINGTON, N.J. (AP) — One person is dead after a car struck a utility pole and split in half in Burlington Township.

The crash occurred on Route 130 near Beverly Road just before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say the preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was heading north at a high rate of seed when it struck a utility pole and the back portion of the vehicle separated from the front.

Police say 22-year-old Nathaniel Gray of Clementon died at the scene. Thirty-seven-year-old Rashon Causey of Burlington City is in stable condition at a hospital with head and facial injuries and broken ribs.

Police do not know who was driving.
