Man Critical After Pulled From Burning Home In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was pulled from a burning home in North Philadelphia.

The fire was reported shortly after 3 p.m. Monday at the 3400 block of Goodman Street.

Officials say a 36-year-old man was pulled from the home by medics and rushed to Temple University Hospital.  He is listed in critical condition.

Chopper 3 was over the scene as firefighters battled the blaze.

The American Red Cross is responding to help at least two affected residents.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
