2 Duct-Taped And Shot In Lawncrest; 1 Dead, 1 Critical
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One man is dead and another man is in critical condition after a double shooting in Lawncrest.
The victims were found shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday in the 5700 block of Newtown Street.
Philadelphia Police tell CBS 3 both men were duct-taped.
A man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he was shot execution-style.
A second man in his 20s was shot three times, but was able to free himself. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in critical, but stable condition.
Investigators believe the gunmen abducted both victims and then drove to the location where they were found.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation.
