Eagles off to slow start in second half

The Eagles started the second half with the ball, but they weren't able to get anything rolling on offense against Chiefs.

Both of the Birds first two drives went three-and-out, including one with a questionable third down play call.

In 1-yard situations, the Eagles have ran the "Brotherly Shove" without hesitation. But this time, the Eagles handed it to Swift, which resulted in a loss and led to a punt.

For a team with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith on the outside, it was an odd one, especially when you consider Jalen Hurts has been playing banged up.

They're still only down by 10 points, so maybe they can get something going eventually. But thus far, it hasn't been pretty.

Entering the game, the Eagles had one of the best-rushing defenses in the league, but they haven't been able to slow down Kansas City's rushing attack on Monday night.

Chiefs tailback Isiah Pacheco has 66 yards on 12 carries and Mahomes has scampered for 29 yards as he continues to be a pain for Philadelphia's defensive lineman. The Chiefs have recorded 121 total rushing yards through two quarters.
