Woman Killed In Carlstadt Fire, Paterson Blaze Destroys Three Buildings
CARLSTADT, N.J.(CBSNewYork) -- Authorities are investigating a fatal blaze in Carlstadt.
Flames broke out inside of a Carlyle Court home just after 9 a.m. on Sunday, CBS 2 reported.
The house suffered heavy damage in the fire and a 76-year-old woman was killed, according to published reports.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
In Paterson a fire destroyed three buildings and left a dozen people homeless.
Two firefighters and one resident were injured in the Totowa Avenue blaze.
