Woman killed, 2 other people injured by driver in Commack, Long Island
COMMACK, N.Y. -- Police say a woman jogging in Suffolk County was killed and her two brothers injured when they were hit by a minivan Thursday morning.
It happened as 22-year-old Ilona Kaydanov and her brothers, ages 20 and 13, were jogging single file on the shoulder of Harned Road in Commack around 8:30 a.m.
Kaydanov died at a local hospital. Her brothers were treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.

People who live on the road say it can be dangerous.
"People drive way too fast on this road. There isn't a sidewalk on that section of the road, and it's really dangerous," Commack resident Stacy Renart said.
"I was hit twice coming into my driveway because they were speeding," Commack resident Joe Pollari said.
Investigators say the driver and her two passengers were not injured.
The SUV was impounded for a safety check.
