Approaching Winter Storm Impacting Flights Nationwide

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The winter storm expected to hit the Tri-State Area on Saturday is already causing problems at the airports.
More than 2,300 flights have been canceled nationwide.
Locally, 78 flights have been canceled at LaGuardia so far, 51 have been grounded at John F. Kennedy International Airport and 36 flights at Newark Liberty International Airport.
If you have a scheduled flight, check with the airline before you head to the airport.
