3/30 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

Sunshine will dominate once again this afternoon. As for temperatures, we'll climb well into the 50s -- coastal communities will be a little cooler because of the onshore breeze.

High pressure will stay in control tonight, but it won't be quite as cold as this morning, with lows in the mid to upper 40's.

Our next system will push more clouds into our area tomorrow, but it looks like we'll stay dry much of the day. And because of the tightening pressure gradient, it will become more blustery, as well. Expect warmer highs in the upper 60s, to around 70 degrees.

More showers will spread throughout the area tomorrow night into Friday as our cold front approaches. We could even see a few thunderstorms, so rounds of heavier rain are very much a possibility. It will still be on the warm side on Friday with highs around 70 degrees once again.

As for Saturday, we're officially dry, but we'll need to keep an eye on the tail of the front the passes through Friday night -- some rain is possible, especially across coastal areas.
