WATCH: Worst Shot Ever? Nets' Cory Jefferson Misses ... By A Lot

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Worst shot of all time?

It's certainly in the discussion.

With the Nets trailing the Bulls, 77-68, in the fourth quarter on Wednesday night in Chicago, Nets rookie Cory Jefferson hoisted up a wide-open three-pointer.

He missed. By a lot.

To say that it was an air ball is not doing it justice. The ball didn't get remotely close to the basket, and it looked like more of a pass than a shot.

Jefferson finished the game with four points, four rebounds and a block in 14 minutes, so it wasn't all bad for the power forward.

The Nets ended up losing by 25 to fall to 8-12 on the season.
