WATCH: Adam Jones Demolishes WFAN's Craig Carton In RBI Baseball
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones is as outspoken as it gets, so it was no surprise when he called WFAN radio on Tuesday to gloat about destroying morning show co-host Craig Carton in a game of RBI Baseball.
But Carton, who played Jones on Friday at Yankee Stadium, had an issue with the three-time All-Star's tactics.
"You didn't play (with) the Orioles," Carton said. "You took the Dodgers, Adam!"
"It's a video game," responded Jones, who added that he doesn't know why, but he just doesn't like to select the squad that issues his paychecks.
Carton got off to a quick two-run lead as the Yankees. Jones responded with 12 unanswered runs and a whopping 22 hits to Carton's nine:
Jones also touched on All-Star voting, and reiterated that fans who run on the field should be met with a stun gun.
And, somehow, fill-in co-host Robert Wuhl managed to bring up Ray Knight's infamous fight with Eric Davis in 1986. Jones said he wouldn't shy away from such an encounter.
"I'd punch him right back," he said.
