VIDEO: Dad Goes For Ball At Mets Game, Leaves Kid In Runaway Wagon

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- This dad is in ground-rule trouble.

A fan in a Miami Marlins shirt wanted a souvenir at Monday's spring training game against the Mets but wound up sprinting after his son instead after letting go of his kid's wagon on a grassy hill in right-center field.

"Oh my goodness," play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt said during replay of the forgetful father lunging for Chris Young's ground-rule double. "I mean, what are we doing here?"

Not to worry -- everyone went home in one piece. The dad, though, might be hearing about this one for a while.

"Mom is not happy," Mets television analyst Keith Hernandez said. "Your kid is out of the cart now. He doesn't trust it."
