72-year-old woman in critical condition after car flipped over during crash in Queens
NEW YORK -- A 72-year-old woman was hospitalized Sunday after she was behind the wheel of a car that flipped over during a crash in Queens.
Police said a 20-year-old man driving a blue BMW crashed into the woman's white Lexus SUV on Peck Avenue near Utopia Parkway at around 2 p.m. Sunday.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital. The woman was in critical condition and the man was stable, police said.
Investigators were still looking into what led up to the crash.
Police did not immediately announce any arrests.
