Manhole Fire Knocks Out Power On Upper West Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A manhole fire left hundreds of people without power this morning in Manhattan.

Con Edison crews responded to West 108th Street and Central Park West on the Upper West Side.

Officials said nearly 400 customers in the area lost power.

Service was expected to be restored by 3 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
