Police: Gunman Robs Passenger In Back Of Taxi Cab On Upper East Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Think twice before opening the cab door.
The NYPD wants your help finding two men who robbed a passenger in the back seat of a cab.
The robbery took place at 4:05 a.m. Sunday at 78th Street near Madison Avenue.
The incident was caught on surveillance video.
The video shows the cab pulled over, with the rear passenger door open.
Two suspects can be seen walking past the cab. One of them walked forward to keep watch, according to police. The other turned back, pulled out a gun and robbed the passenger.
They ran off with $160.
