Unidentified Man Killed In Fire At Metro-North Railroad's Purdy's Station

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- An unidentified man was killed in a fire at a Metro-North parking lot.

The man was found inside of a Chevy Tahoe at the Metro-North Railroad's Purdy's station along the Harlem line.

Fire crews spotted the man inside of the vehicle while it was still burning. They said that the man was unresponsive at the time.

MTA police are working to confirm the man's identity. Fire investigators are trying to figure out how the fire started.

The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy on Monday to determine the cause of death.
