TSA Agents Surprised By Chihuahua In Suitcase At LaGuardia

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A dog determined to go with his owner on a trip gave Transportation Security Administration agents a big surprise at LaGuardia Airport this week.

The hard-sided suitcase triggered an alarm Tuesday in the checked baggage area at the airport. An officer opened the suitcase and found a Chihuahua.

The TSA tracked down the owner and brought her the dog. The agency also released photos on Twitter.

The TSA said the owner was stunned to see her pet. She said the dog must have curled up in her clothes as she packed.

Her husband picked up the Chihuahua and went home with the dog.
