Ticket Prices Already Through The Roof For Jeter's Final Games

It could cost you -- big time.

The Yankees captain announced on Wednesday that he would be retiring after the 2014 season. Within an hour, some tickets on StubHub.com for the Yankee Stadium finale, Sept. 25 against the Baltimore Orioles, were listed as high as $11,004.99.
There were also tickets in the $4,000 range. And that may end up being a bargain.

Tickets for the Sept. 28 season finale -- fittingly against the rival Red Sox at Boston's Fenway Park -- topped out at $11,003.10 as of Wednesday afternoon. It will be the final regular-season game of Jeter's career.
The Yankees pulled out all the stops for Mariano Rivera's final home game in 2013, bringing in the band Metallica for a special performance. They also retired Rivera's No. 42 in monument Park.
