The Best Twitter Reactions To Mayweather-Berto
Ross Kelly, CBS Local Sports
As expected, Floyd Mayweather easily dominated Andre Berto to improve to 49-0. Floyd has touted this as the last fight of his career (sure Floyd) and he hand-picked someone he could easily defeat. The good folks on Twitterverse watched the fight (through legal or illegal means) and as always, they gave their two cents on the lack of action. Here is the best, or worst, of the reactions to the match and the outcome:
We'll get right into it. Boxing great Oscar De La Hoya wasted no time in throwing shade Floyd's way:
Now that the worst boxing era is over let's look forward to the next 10 years. #Canelo #Cotto #Golovkin #Lemieux

God, I hope this is real:

There definitely wasn't enough action for this to be real:

If you needed a seven second summary of the fight:
Floyd says he's "The Best Ever"; some see otherwise:

Let's not forget:
Skip Bayless still thinks Pacquiao won the fight:
Hey @StephenASmith: I can't wait to see a HEALTHY Manny Pacquiao punish Floyd Mayweather Jr. after legit, strict PED testing.

And, finally, Floyd could have probably sent this tweet out in about the fourth round and still won by UD:
49-0
