Teen Twin Sisters Plead Not Guilty To Tying Up, Robbing 85-Year-Old Man

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Teenaged twin sisters denied in court Wednesday that they tied up and robbed an elderly man whom one of them allegedly met on a "sugar daddy" website.

Shaina and Shalaine Foster, both 17, both pleaded not guilty in Brooklyn to charges that include kidnapping, burglary, assault and robbery, WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reported.

According to authorities, Shaina had met 85-year-old Paul Aronson, a retired lawyer, on the Internet and brought her sister along for an Oct. 1 dinner date.

Aronson then brought them back to his East Side townhouse, where the twins allegedly tied him to his coffee table, stole his cash and credit cards and went out shopping for makeup.

The victim wasn't discovered until 20 hours later, when a friend found him still tied to the table.

Defense attorney Brian Kennedy said Aronson tried to get the underage girls drunk and had impure expectations for the meeting.
