Police Seek Suspect Who Shot Teen Outside Store In Castle Hill

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for man who shot a teenager outside a Bronx grocery store.

The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday in front of a grocery store at 610 Castle Hill Ave.

Police said the 17-year-old victim got into an argument with the suspect, who then pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the right shoulder.

The suspect fled southbound on Castle Hill Avenue.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as a black male with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing black pants, tan work boots and a blue hooded jacket.
