Police: Person Of Interest Sought In Bronx Shooting Death Of 16-Year-Old Girl

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in the Bronx are looking for a man they call a person of interest following the shooting death of a 16-year-old girl.

Investigators are trying to locate 42-year-old Dale Weston on charges of criminal possession of a firearm.

Around 6:15 p.m. Thursday, the victim was found shot in the head in a fourth floor apartment in a building on East 171st Street in the Claremont section. Police said the victim was visiting the apartment at the time.

Police listed Weston's address as the same building. He was last seen Thursday around the time of the shooting inside his home, police said.

He is about 6'3" tall, weighing 190 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black, waist-length jacket and blue jeans.
