Authorities Probe Single-Vehicle Crash That Left Medford Man Dead

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County detectives were investigating a single-vehicle crash on the William Floyd Parkway that left a man dead on Sunday.

Ronald Hunte was driving his 2003 Buick Rendezvous when it left the roadway, and struck trees off the right shoulder at 11 a.m.

Hunte, 60, of Medford was taken to John T Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson where he was pronounced dead.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check, detectives have asked anyone with information to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
