Straphangers Lament Delays, Problems On No. 7 Train
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Another day, another problem on the No. 7 train.
As WCBS 880's Mike Xirinachs reported, the No. 7 line has become synonymous with problems, delays and breakdowns.
On Monday, a smoky condition caused by a rail connection issue stranded hundreds of straphangers in a tunnel under the East River.
Late is a word you hear a lot of from No. 7 train riders.
"Always late, that's the biggest problem," one commuter said.
That rider told WCBS 880 that a late train means being late for work and late for everything.
Elected officials say they will continue their push to get the MTA to improve service.
