Stephen Baldwin: Brother Alec's Trump Impersonation Not Funny

LAS VEGAS (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Alec Baldwin's younger brother is not a fan of the actor's impersonation of Donald Trump on "Saturday Night Live."

Following Wednesday night's presidential debate in Las Vegas, Stephen Baldwin told CBS News that his brother's impersonation of the Republican nominee is not funny.

"Well, he's got the voice down very well. I think it's getting a little too nasty right now," said Alec's younger brother. "I don't want to be a party pooper here, but I don't think it's very funny."

Baldwin told CBS News this election is too serious to be joking about.

"I don't think there's anything funny about this election. I think it's very serious, very important," said Baldwin, who is supporting Trump. "Young people, millennials, undecided voters, everybody's got 20 days now to really start to do their homework and figure out who they think is going to lead this country in the direction it needs to be, back on its feet economically."

Donald Trump is also not a fan of Alec Baldwin's impersonation.

"Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!" Trump tweeted.

Saturday's show featured a send-up of the second presidential debate last held last Sunday at Washington University in St. Louis.

Baldwin, who retweeted Trump's critique, has been playing him on "Saturday Night Live" since its 42nd season kicked off a few weeks ago, with Kate McKinnon depicting Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

Trump himself hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live" last November.
