Fire spreads to 3 rowhouses in Midland, Staten Island

NEW YORK -- A fast-moving, four-alarm fire spread to multiple homes on Staten Island on Thursday.

It started in a rowhouse on Patterson Avenue near Greeley Avenue in the Midland Beach section around 4 p.m.

The flames spread to two neighboring homes.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause is under investigation.
