2 wanted in connection to deadly shooting at Staten Island deli
NEW YORK -- Police are searching for two men wanted in connection to a deadly shooting at a Staten Island deli.
Surveillance video shows them entering the store on Manor Road in the Castleton section just before 8 p.m. Saturday.
That's when police say a 35-year-old store employee was shot in the chest during an attempted robbery.
The victim has been identified as Bassam Khateeb, of Staten Island.
The two men were seen driving off in a red or maroon Jeep Cherokee on the New Jersey-bound Staten Island Expressway.
