April is usually the month we yearn for least. You have your rain and now snow, your inability to eat delicious carbs on Pesach or meat on Good Friday, and loads of family driving you mad over the holidays.
Lucky for you, pizza king Giulio Adriani, is offering up delicious pizzas and a prix-fixe menu at his new restaurant SRO, located behind a very secret door. Entering through Espoleta's enterence, you can pass up the tapas and wine consumers to the second door leading you to NYC very first pizza speakeasy.

With only two dozen seats decorating this hot spot, you can imagine the things you have to do to get in… ok, ok get your mind out of the gutter. We're just talking about getting the password. After you receive the password here, all you have to do is find a time when the "No Vacancy" sign is illuminated and fight all of the other hovering foodies to get in first.
Driving you through that secret door is the craving for the three course $38 pris-fixe menu. That includes a glass of wine or beer (or nonalcoholic drink), a starter like the charcuterie with honey pairings, a pizza or calzone, and desserts such as the tres leches cake.

If that's not enough, imagine Adriani's famous Montanara Pie hitting your lips with your first bite. Frying the dough first allows the doughy goodness to compliment the succulent toppings of tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil. Pure heaven locked in a pie.
Good luck and may the food be with you.
