Report: 'Sopranos' Actor Michael Imperioli's Son Arrested In Swastika Case

HARRISON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- The son of "Sopranos" actor Michael Imperioli is facing charges for allegedly spray painting a swastika at SUNY Purchase.

Vadim Imperioli, 19, is accused of spray painting a swastika on a dorm bulletin board at the school last month.

State police confirmed the arrest to the Journal News. Campus police are not commenting, and the district attorney's office said the bias unit is in contact with authorities.

Vadim Imperioli was in Harrison town court on Wednesday for a separate incident involving the alleged unauthorized use of a car.

The assistant district attorney asked for a bail increase, saying Imperioli has an apparent disregard for the property of others, the Journal News reported.

Imperioli sat quietly with his grandparents.

In the swastika case he is charged with criminal mischief -- a misdemeanor, but that could be upgraded to a felony.

Imperioli's attorney did not comment.
